James joins Glide as CEO following considerable experience in the bioscience sector. James has previously held roles as CEO of OBS Medical and Hallmarq Veterinary and a main board director of Spectris plc. James spent much of his early career in international commercial positions with AstraZeneca. He chairs Hygea VCT, a fund specialising in bioscience investments which is a shareholder in Glide Pharma.
Commenting on his appointment, James recognised the huge potential of the Glide technology to pharmaceutical and vaccine delivery and looked forward to working with the Glide team to move the business to the next stage.
